𝗔nambra 𝗡𝗬𝗖𝗡 𝗟ocal 𝗚overnment 𝗖hapters was 𝗗uly 𝗜naugurated to 𝗣ilot the 𝗔ffairs of 𝗡igerian Youths in 𝟮𝟭 𝗟𝗚𝗔𝘀 of 𝗔nambra State

The National Youth Council Of Nigeria Anambra State Chapter led by His Youthfulness, 𝗔𝗺𝗯. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃. 𝗢𝗯𝗶 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗸𝘄𝘂𝗱𝗶 successful inaugurated the 21 Local Government Chapters of the youth council in the state.

The inauguration was done in the program titled 𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗥𝗔 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧 under the distinguished chairmanship of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗜𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, Chairman House Committee on Youth and Sports Development on Saturday 26th August, 2023 at Marble Arch Hotel, Awka.

The event held in Awka has the theme, 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛; 𝗔 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲.

The summit/inauguration ceremony attracted youths from different parts of the state, uniform organizations and local government chapters.

Inaugurating the new NYCN Local Government Executives, the chairman of the occasion,𝗛𝗼𝗻.𝗜𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, encouraged youth leaders of various local government to contribute their quota to the development of their various localities as proposed by the present administration which has the interest of the youths at heart.

Speaking, the Commissioner for Youth Development, 𝗛𝗼𝗻.𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗴𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗯𝗮, ably represented by 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶, Director, ministry of youth development admonished the youth leaders to be supportive to the State Executive Council which he described as grassroot participation in order to collectively achieve the youth policy goals.

The National Deputy President, 𝗔𝗺𝗯. 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮, advised the youth leaders to be a good ambassadors that will foster unity and peaceful coexistence in their localities and to be law-abiding in their daily activities.

The youth leaders of various Faith-based organisation of the council in the state, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗿. 𝗡𝘄𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 (YOUWICAN), 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗿. 𝗨𝗯𝗼𝘀𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗯𝗮 (CYON),𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗿. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗘𝗱𝗲me (ROYAL RANGERS) encouraged the youths to channel their strength into something meaningful, work hard and make good use of their God given talents, we assure you of maximum support and participation of our members residing in your localities, in order to move youth council to a greater heights.

While presenting the chapter’s certificate of return, the State Chairman of NYCN, assured the chapter Executives of his unflinching assistance, even as he called on all Local Government stakeholders for their maximum support when needed.

Following the efforts and commitment in ensuring progress and peaceful coexistence among the Youths in Anambra State, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗜𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, member representing Nnewi North State constituency, received an award of excellence as appreciation for his immense contributions.

Speaking to the gentlemen of the press, the NYCN State Chairman, Surveyor Emeka Obi appreciated the attendees for their support and contributions towards promoting and projecting the core purpose of the Nigerian Youths.
